Volume VI, No. 3 (July-September) of 2024 of the journal Política Internacional addresses a wide range of topics relevant to international relations, the analysis of International Politics and Cuban diplomacy. The section "The World We Live In", among other issues, includes articles on strategic resource conflicts, the geostrategic approach of the military industrial complex to the Global Environmental Crisis, analysis of defense documents of Portuguese-speaking countries, revolution in military affairs and US naval thinking in the Indo-Pacific, Russian advances in the Arctic, global military spending and US foreign policy towards the Pacific Island States. The section "Cuban Diplomacy" offers interesting analyses, such as an article on Eusebio Leal and cultural diplomacy, relations with Uruguay in the period 1959-1960, an overview on the Lao People's Democratic Republic and Cuba 50 years after 50 years of diplomatic relations, and Cuba's foreign policy in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. The "International Relations" section examines topics such as the current debate on globalization, investment treaty clauses in Latin America and the Caribbean, global challenges and the crisis of the Post-War II International Economic Order, the relationship between China, the Belt and Road Initiative and the 2030 Agenda, the impact of the European Parliament on the foreign policy of the European Union, and health sovereignty in the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America - Peoples' Trade Agreement, among others. It is hoped that the papers presented will contribute to a better understanding of the complex dynamics of international politics in today's world.
