Resumen

Este artículo examina la actividad legislativa en Estados Unidos con respecto a Cuba entre los años 2015 y 2020, para identificar tendencias y variaciones que permitan valorar los posibles escenarios en el 117 Congreso, a partir de enero de 2021. Los intereses sobre ciertos temas se mantuvieron en el tiempo y se transmitieron de una legislatura a otra. Fenómenos como la polarización, la complejidad en el funcionamiento del Congreso, y la diversidad de intereses entre los distintos actores involucrados, dificultaron el avance de las propuestas
